TASK #14
TITLE: My apraisal of the English class

INSTRUCTIONS: PLEASE, WRITE a critical commentary of the English class. Say what you liked and also what you consider could be different and/or better/more useful. PLEASE, feel free to comment on the English teacher too: his communication style, the way he gives instructions or explain things, etc.



This year I have learnt a lot of things about English thank of the teacher but I'm going to say some disadvantages of it.

Firstly, I think that three hours are a little to study a language but the teacher doesn't have the responsability of this.

Secondly, I recommend him speaking more in English than in Spanish because if we are more time listening and speaking in English, we will learn more.

In addition, we don't have a lot of homework so, I prefer to do more exercises to practise it at home.

On the other hand, he teaches fantastic and also, I love his way using the computers.

To conclude, I have to thank him because he's a very good teacher and all the class have learnt a lot of English.

Topic: The World's economy can only keep growing if more and more stuff is produced and sold. The planet's resources are limited and the damage inflicted upon nature may be irreparable. Knowing this, in your opinion, what could an ethical shopper do realistically? Would you do what you say can be done?

(Make your essay at least 120 words long.)

 

 

Nowadays, global warming is going worth because of many reasons like carbon emisions. We have created this problem and we can find a solution to reduce it.

 

Firstly, we could use glass bottles instead of plastic because the plastic ones are created by petrol and it polluted a lot. If many people do it, the global warming will be reduced. I do it because I hate plastic bottles.

 

In addition, we can use bikes more and go by foot instead of using our single cars. Also, if you need to go further you can use the bus. I go walking everywhere but, if it is far I go by car.

 

Furthermore, we can drink water from the tap instead of buy it in the supermarket. I couldn't do this because I don't like tap's water and it can produce ilnesses.

 

To conclude, we can do a lot of things to reduce the carbon emisions. If everyone reduce his carbon footprint, the world will be better.

TITLE: Unit test 6 Speaking task 

 ME AND THE ENVIRONMENT

INSTRUCTIONS: 

The aim of this essay is to put in writing you reflection about the actions you normally do that may be detrimental to the environment and that you may change in the future:

Start like this: AFTER DUE CONSIDERATION to the issue proposed by the teacher, this is what I have found and what I intend to do in the future.

In my opinion my carbon footprint is low because of some things I do but, it could be better.

Firstly, I always switch the lights off when I go out from the room and it's very good to save energy. Another interesting thing I do is putting freeze thing in the fridge to disfreeze them slowly and saving energy.

By the other hand, I do some things that I will change. For example I use the elevator every day three or four times to go up to my house because I live in a fourth and I am very lazy. The other example I will change is to switch the lights off when there is enough bright of the sun, because I use it every day.

In conclusion, I think that my carbon footprint is good but I promise I will improve it because I do some wasting things.

TITLE: Extraterrestrial Life

INSTRUCTIONS: So far, scientists and astronomers have found no evidence that there's life anywhere else in the universe. The universe, though, is a huge place. What do you think? 

Do you think life exists on other planets? If yes, would it be simple life forms or intelligent life, similar to the animals on our planet? If no, say why. In either case explain please.

Nowadays astronomers and scientists are finding new planets and new solar systems. Maybe in one of this planets are people living or some living beings.
Last week I saw on the TV that it has been found seven new planets similar to the Earth and, why they can't have life?

In my opinion the Universe is enormous and in some place there can be a planet with water and some living beings. That is not impossible because in Mars it is demostrated that there are rests of water and with water there are bacterias.
I think that this living things are bacterias and unicelular living beings.

To conclude, I think that there are life in the other planet because the Universe is very big and obviously there are a planet with water or with an atmosphere.

I'm a character who appears in a science fiction film. My name is Spiderman.

I'm someone who study a lot and I also have time to meet with my girlfriend and defend people.

My girlfriend, whose name is Betty Brant, is in my school and we were best friends before being a couple. My enemy, whose name is Doctor Octopus, is always killing people.

My most dangerous moment is when I had to kill him. It was so difficult because it was very big and he was stronger. My most romantic moment moment was when I was alone with my girlfriend in a cinema and we were so confortable.

In a famous scene, which I had to find my uncle's munderer in the middle of the film, I didn't have help and he killed him because when I was buying food, he was stealing in a supermarket and I didn't kill him.

In New York, where the film takes place, I have to kill all of my enemies and I don't have the help of the police.

Nowadays, children are very exhausted because they have a lot of exams and homework of each subject. Every teacher thinks that his subject is the most important but we have to study for all of them.
I am not agree with this because children also have to do some exercise to be thin. In my opinion, the best way to get the bests marks is doing the homeworks in class and study at home. In this way every children will get better marks and they will have time to do sport.
To conclude, homeworks are not a good idea and the teachers should put less exams to have better marks. Also children won't be fat because they could do some sport.

TITLE: Christmas 2016/17 memories

After having thought of my Christmas holidays, I think the most memorable event I remember is this:

The most exciting thing I have lived in this Christmas holidays was the 6th of January in the morning. I got up at 8 a.m. to put my parent's presents in the living room. Then, my parents and my sister got up at 9 a.m. and we started to unwrap our presents. One of the best presents was the Channel Plus. It is used to see all the football matches. After open all our presents, my father and I went to the flat roof to prepare it to see the matches in the afternoon. When we went back home I went to my bedroom and I saw a big box and four little boxes next to it. I began to open it and the big one was the PS4 (a console) and three of the little boxes were videogames to it. Finally, I open the last one and it was an headphones to talk with my friends across the PS4. This year I have had a lot of presents and I am very grateful.
